About The Project
Youth Uncaged project aims to provide Arts and Music sessions for young people and young adults in the BAME community that have been affected by knife/gun crime; to introduce knife crimes awareness campaigns, provide a safe environment for young adults hence giving them activities to keep them engaged and out of trouble.
According to the Romford Recorder, knife crime arose by almost 30% in contrast to nearby boroughs.
We will be giving them skills, art, artwork, visible things they can present. We will offer life skills, career options including university and apprenticeships.
